The whole and its parts

The whole & its parts

Authenticity is dynamic

The more I dig into authenticity the more I like it and the less I believe in it.

The same holds for “being me” or “being true to myself”.

We are capable of noticing their presence. But the concepts remain elusive.

Both can exist in the moment. None lasts.

What is true or authentic now, may not be so in a minute.

It is a process that gains from noticing when we are inauthentic and when we are not true to ourselves.

But even that isn’t easy.

We are constantly confronted with learning and adapting to the change we are living in.

That’s never comfortable and always new.

It can’t be true with all our existing selves. It’s actually a new self.

Experience will tell if it’s authentic.
