Living life

Living life is what happens in the rare moments in which one is present to the moment.

It doesn’t need to be stillness as such.

It may not mean happiness, or joy and doesn’t focus on being positive.

It is the experience of tranquility, kindness, and being at peace with who you are and what you do at that moment. It entails kindness towards yourself as well as kindness towards others.

It’s rare as thinking about the future, reviewing the past, and comparing oneself with others usually is a much more present way to use our time. It is a reaction to our anticipations and anxieties that result from desiring to be accepted in our community and fearing to be rejected from it.

Anything that may end provokes anxieties and distracts from living life. It reflects our effort to make the best possible use of what is available and becoming acquainted with the impossibility of that task.
