Silence

The noise we are hearing is covering other sounds.

The moment silence appears is when there is no contact. And in that case, silence is replaced by one or more inner dialogues. The person waiting for the other to reconnect will be with his inner dialogue. The person who has been disconnected will be with her inner dialogue. They’ll both be seeking to fill the void. It’s what happens if silence is only used as an instrument.

When silence is offered within contact, it becomes a space for exchange. A space allowing both to move within their respective rhythms. It becomes a silence allowing to listen and to be heard without needing to add words. They’ll emerge when needed.

The melody is in the connection.

There is no silence.
