When going into the corporate world, people easily associate it with climbing up the career ladder. It’s an idea of moving from one position to the other or from one responsibility and authority position to another.

All of these positions may involve leadership.

If it is perceived as leadership depends on how the role is taken up.

Leaders need to be willing to take a seat at the leadership table. Theirs as much as the one of the leader they follow.

Leaders need the willingness to have followers. Which implies to also see their leadership.
