The whole and its parts

The whole & its parts

Seeing an alternative

Reactions are, most often, limited by what people are reacting to.

If someone decides to shout, others will try to shout louder.

When someone sees a problem, they’ll work to solve that problem, inviting others to join in.

If someone decides to win using unfair measures, people will either request that this stop immediately or ask themselves why they should stick to being fair.

That’s why Jesus suggested, “If someone strikes you on the right cheek, turn to him the other also.”

There is no reason to get all beaten up. However, it is confusing to experience an unexpected choice.

It creates space to step back and look for alternatives.
