It’s easy to do something. And it’s easy to feel good about having done something.

It’s easy to measure how much time went into doing that thing. And it’s easy to appreciate it when the same activity took less time than it did before.

It’s easy to teach someone how to do a task one step after the other. And it’ll easily feel good to see how someone became able to follow the instructions.

But does it make someone productive?

It will for some. For others it won’t.

It depends on the problem one had set out to solve. But also, on what has been changed.
