Learning something new does take time, golf is no exception. What seems to make golf a bit more challenging is the number of times we actually playing the ball. Your aim is to play the ball the least often possible. Achieving this goal doesn’t make you much faster. It does create an interesting feeling of inner balance though.
Playing the ball requires an interesting mix in concentration and letting go.
Any time you hit the ball you start anew. You concentrate on the here and now of that hit.
If you don’t, the previous shots will impact the next one.
Often making it worse as you dream of the perfect shot or worry about the bad ones you’ve just had.
Golf makes real life visible.
