Reframing Failures

What if all the events which don’t turn out exactly as hoped for would people’s description of a failure?

Would they still perceive it as negative?

Ego is the most challenging aspect when assessing something as a failure.

Our own, not the other person’s.

It seems that there are two ways to approach this.

One is to reframe what you’ll consider as a failure to enable yourself to live a different emotional reaction to the event.

Another is to redecide how you’ll take your own emotional reaction resulting from something you consider a failure.

Both approaches create the space to enable cognitive reactions like the idea that there is always something to learn. It’s easier to learn something when you are interested in it.
