It is also one of the reasons why people avoid coaching. They know that being held accountable would confront them with something they fear. It may be as simple as describing what they want to be held accountable for and as complicated as not being able to describe what it is they want to be held accountable for.
The difference between the two is the existing experience and trust in being able to receive the desired support.
