The whole and its parts

The whole & its parts

Question oneself

Some see it as a way to doubt oneself. They may even take pride in doubting that they are right.

Others wonder about the ideas others have and decide to ask themselves how they could be right.

The difference between both approaches may be found in one’s relationship with oneself. The first approach implies that there is something wrong with oneself, one’s knowledge, or one’s ideas. The second approach is based on curiosity and doesn’t expect oneself or others to be right or wrong. It looks for opportunities to broaden one’s perception.
