Today I was playing with a new partner. It was interesting to see him play and learn from his experience. While learning to know each other I also experienced how the connection changed. Having appreciated his help, he found the permission to add more recommendations. He had met a student willing to learn to play better and his wish to help me continued to grow.

As we moved on he shared that when playing with his wife it wasn’t always easy because he was correcting her too often. He was smiling about himself.

When we know that our help is valuable it’s sometimes difficult to find the right balance between helping and correcting others.
