The whole and its parts

The whole & its parts

Intention and impact

Sometimes you’ll receive feedback or a reaction allowing you to see how your message has been received.

If it isn’t what you expected, you have at least two choices.

One is to explain that this wasn’t your intention.

The other is to take the information and ask yourself how the gap between intention and impact may have occurred.

And if you don’t know? Well, a simple question will do.

The more people seek to achieve what is on their minds, the less attention they pay to the process.

Which is somehow sad, as it gives all the attention points one needs.

That is if one is willing to let go of one’s intention for a moment.
