Whatever someone wants to see changed, it rarely is what will be changed.
Wanting to see something change is usually the idea or imagination of how something should be one day. What exists now isn’t considered.
What is being changed is something that exists now and is being transformed. While our experience might tell us how the change will happen, we can’t be sure it will happen as imagined.
Whatever approach one takes, when we start to change something, we need to know what we are changing. We must be clear about what exists and what we are starting from. The less we know about it, the more probable it becomes that we create something new instead of changing what is. Instead of changing, we find ourselves adding to the existing.
