Saying thank you is something I easily do. Receiving a thank you on the other hand often feels awkward.
Dealing with gratefulness is a similar challenge as describing the value created with one’s work or help.
In both cases, we are looking at the difference between two perceptions. The perception of what to be grateful for of the person giving and the one of the person receiving help.
We tend to forget that they cannot be the same.
Our work is to imagine what the value is for the other.
Seeing gratefulness makes this world a better one.
