When we position ourselves, we allow others to position themselves in relation to us.

We’ll hesitate out of fear that they’ll choose a different position than the one we hoped to find them in. It is focused on an either-or approach of fixed positions.

What we may forget is that positioning also is the opportunity to find one another and adjust to one another.
