Everyone learns that failures happen, and that success is not guaranteed.
However, such learning doesn’t lead people out of the dichotomy of success versus failure. It almost transforms success into a necessity. After failures, it seems that there is an expectation that success has to reappear. When experiencing bad times, it is good times people look forward to.
What if one could step out of this polarity?
What if success wouldn’t be as important as integrity? Or as something else that is important to you?
What if learning what is right for oneself would be sufficient?
Successes and failures would continue to occur.
Satisfaction and disappointments would continue to exist.
Doing what is right for oneself would become a habit.
Others would continue to measure what we do.
But that measure wouldn’t be ours.
Having a sense of what is right for oneself doesn’t stop us from hearing other ideas or opinions.
