Suffering happens. There are many reasons for it and no reason to deny that there is suffering.

And yet there is a threshold when suffering becomes a means to establish oneself as a victim.

There is no question that injustice might have happened, that it might not be one’s fault.  Establishing oneself as a victim means to either blame others for the situation or to rely on others to solve it.

Another choice available is to step out of the suffering and take charge of the situation.
